A Trademark is a distinctive sign, logo, symbol, word, or combination that distinguishes the goods or services of one business from another. In Pakistan, trademarks are registered under the Trademarks Ordinance, 2001 with the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan). Registration provides exclusive rights, prevents unauthorized use, and builds brand identity.

Requirements:
✓ Form TM-1 in duplicate
✓ Six representations affixed on durable paper of 13 x 8 inch
✓ CNIC of the Trademark Holder / Partners
✓ Specification of goods or services sought to be protected (class-wise)
✓ Residential address of holder or Letterhead of the business
✓ Any other information or documents as required by IPO

Completion Time: 12 – 18 Months (including examination, publication, and registration process — subject to opposition, if any)
